Gold in the Grey Season

It’s easy to look at a winter landscape and think everything is asleep or dead, but there's so much life hidden away. In fact, these golden reed beds are vital right now. They act as "bug hotels" for hibernating insects and provide crucial shelter for birds like the Reed Bunting during these colder months. It’s a nice reminder that even in the quietest moments, nature is still hard at work.
