Had a nice little wander around Carrigfoyle Quarry today. Despite being windy, the water was absolutely dead calm, creating a glass-like surface that you just don't see every day. The lake there is very sheltered by the quarry cliffs surrounding it. What really caught my eye was that flawless symmetry; it’s rare to get a reflection so sharp you can barely tell where the rock ends and the water begins. I loved how the rugged, mossy texture of the stone contrasted with the dark, smooth water. It was a properly peaceful moment that needed to be captured.
