Moody Magic at Mount Usher

I headed out to Mount Usher Gardens in Ashford yesterday on a miserable dark wet day. While we all love a bit of sun, there is always a photographic opportunity on a rainy, dark day here in Wicklow as well!

I spent a good while just standing near the river, watching the water crash over the weir. The famous suspension bridge actually looked quite mysterious against the grey sky and kind of fragile with the unusually high and fast-flowing Vartry River below it.
