Just Behind the Tree, 147 Million km Away

I was out hiking near Raven's Rock in County Wicklow yesterday, and the atmosphere walking back to the car was really incredible. The dense, conifer plantations make it feel quite enclosed, but that’s exactly what makes it so special when the sun finally finds a gap.

I stopped to snap this because, with the evening haze, it honestly looks like there is a lamp hidden right behind that tree, but as I thought about it, I realised that light source is actually 147 million kilometres away!
