Mirror Perfection at Johnstown
I took a spin down to Johnstown Castle in Wexford yesterday, and the conditions were just unreal. Usually, you get a bit of ripple from the wind on the Lower Lake, but the water was behaving itself perfectly, creating this seamless mirror effect.
Quick Tip for this spot: When you have water this calm, try holding your phone as low to the ground as possible (sometimes I even flip the phone upside down so the lens is mere inches from the surface). It helps close the gap between the bank and the reflection, making the symmetry look even more dramatic. I ran this through Snapseed just to pop the structure in the branches, but honestly, nature did 90% of the heavy lifting here.
