Magical Morning Rays

Another pic from Christmas as I was walking through Ballinastoe Woods, just minding my own business, when the light did this. It was the first time since back early in the year that I had seen beams like this and I had hoped to see some before the year was out. It’s rare to catch the sunbeams hitting the haze at exactly the right angle, but for a few minutes, the forest looked absolutely magical. I love how the wooden boardwalk acts as a leading line, pulling your eye straight into that explosion of light.
