Tree’s Got a Mistletoe Problem

Mistletoe is a hemi-parasite. This means while its green leaves can photosynthesise and make some of its own food, it taps directly into the host tree's plumbing to steal water and vital minerals. It is definitely not a mutually beneficial relationship - the tree gets absolutely nothing out of the deal! Took this at the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin last spring.
