Coming Soon and I Can’t Wait!
I’ve been scrolling through my gallery looking for a little bit of brightness, and I found this one. I took this back in March 2025, and honestly, I can’t wait for this view to return.
There is something instantly mood-lifting about that specific combination of brilliant white blossoms against a saturated, punchy blue sky. It just screams "fresh start." Looking at the dense clusters here, these appear to be a double-flowered variety of Ornamental Cherry (Prunus).
Here is a little fact for you: Did you know that cherry trees are actually part of the Rose family (Rosaceae)? When you look closely at the shape of the individual petals and the way they cluster, the family resemblance to a wild rose is actually quite striking.
It feels like a long wait through the grey months, but seeing photos like this reminds me that the explosion of colour is just around the corner. Roll on, March!
