Follow the Light

The steep valley sides here, carved out by the Boro River at Borodale, mean the sun often cuts through the canopy at dramatic angles, especially in winter. As I was walking, I stopped to capture this moment where the light was filtering through the tall pines, hitting the back of a fallen tree.

It was the perfect pause in a busy week—just the trees, the river below, and that golden light.
