Historic Anglo Dutch Water Canal

This gorgeous water feature in Antrim Castle Gardens is actually a 400-year-old Anglo-Dutch style canal. It’s one of the few surviving examples of its kind in all of Ireland, dating back to the 17th century when it was laid out for the Massereene family! It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful stroll to clear your head and appreciate the bare, structural beauty of nature in the colder months.
