Still Waters, Jagged Cliffs

Standing by the water's edge, it’s hard to believe this was once a noisy, hive of industry. Now, nature has completely reclaimed Carrigfoyle Quarry. It’s fascinating to think about that transformation - how jagged, blasted rock faces eventually soften with gorse and heather, and how a deep excavation becomes this mirror-like lake.
