Stone Cold Stunner

Honestly, standing here at -14°C was a test of endurance, but looking through this jagged stone window at Spiš Castle, Slovakia, I knew I had to get this shot. What really caught my eye was the natural framing; the way the crumbling, ancient masonry outlines that sweeping snowy landscape and the blue-hued mountains is just perfection. There is something so eerie and beautiful about how the soft pink twilight contrasts with the harsh, frozen ruins. It was absolutely freezing, but for a view this dramatic, the frostbite was worth it :D
