Glendalough Gold

It was one of those days where the sky is just flat grey, and you almost kept my phone in my pocket on this day at Glendalough. However, just as I was standing near the Poulanass Waterfall, looking at the dark rocks and moss, the clouds parted. The sun burst through the bare branches right at the top of the gorge, lighting up the water and adding this incredible warmth to a previously dull scene. It’s definitely one of those moments that reminds you why patience pays off when you're out shooting nature!
