The Sun Trying Desperately to Shine

I took a trip out to Devil's Glen near Ashford yesterday. My main goal was to take a look at the waterfall after all the recent rain. It was a hazy day (and later torrential rain again), but at this particular moment the sun was trying its best to break through the gloom.

If you’re ever near Ashford, the loop walk here offers some dramatic views of the Vartry River gorge, but honestly, just standing still and watching the light filter through the canopy is worth the trip alone.
