Watching the Storm

Last night in Wicklow was absolutely wild. If you were anywhere near the east coast or the hills, you probably heard it. Torrential rain hammering against the roof and a wind that seemed to want to take the windows with it! Luckily, I was snuggly inside with the fire lit, just watching the drama unfold from the other side of the glass.

This photo captures exactly how it felt: cold, blue, and wet on the outside, but warm and golden on the inside.
