I Hiked a Mountain for a FAKE Tomb?! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ (Dublin)

Did the Victorians fool you too? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I hiked up a mountain near Dublin to see an ancient megalithic tomb... only to find out it's a 19th-century fake!

Tibradden Cairn might look like a prehistoric passage tomb, but that iconic shape and the spiral floor carvings are actually Victorian recreations! But don't write it off just yet. It actually sits directly on top of a genuine Bronze Age burial site. When it was excavated in 1849, explorers found real ancient clay vessels and burnt human remains right here! While the passage tomb might be a fib, the hike through the moody pine forest and the incredible panoramic views of Dublin Bay from 467 meters up make it totally worth the trek.
