Black Castle Glow
There is something strictly magical about dragging yourself out of bed when it's absolutely freezing just to catch a moment like this. Yesterday morning at Black Castle in Wicklow, the air was biting, but that faint warmth from the rising sun felt like a massive reward. I had to take this shot because of how the golden light grazed across the textured foreground. It turned the cold, grey rock into a landscape of molten copper and shadow. It’s that perfect mix of fire and ice that makes shivering on a coastline totally worth it.
