Experience the ultimate relaxing coastal woodland walk in Co. Wexford, Ireland.
Unwind with 60 seconds of pure nature ASMR as we explore the amazing facts and figures behind The Raven Nature Reserve, a unique pine forest on the edge of the Irish Sea.
The Raven Nature Reserve in County Wexford is a must-visit destination for nature lovers. This 589-hectare reserve offers a scenic 6.8km looped woodland trail that guides you through towering Corsican pines right down to the ocean. The dunes here began forming from fierce sea winds in the 17th century, but the pines were strategically planted in the 1930s to protect the coastline from washing away. It's a vital ecological site, serving as the winter home for 35% of the world's migrating Greenland White-fronted Geese. Just next door is Curracloe Beach, famously used as the filming location for Saving Private Ryan in 1998.
