Green Carpet

Looking at these vibrant green hummocks, I’m reminded of how incredible sphagnum moss is. Did you know it can hold up to 20 times its own weight in water? It’s essentially the forest’s natural sponge, keeping the ground hydrated even when the weather turns dry. It’s no wonder these woods stay so lush and vibrant. It really felt like the forest was exhaling as I walked through.
