Walking at The Raven Nature Reserve, you get this amazing mix of sea air and the scent of pine needles. I was struck by this particular tree; it’s wearing such a thick "coat" of ivy that it stands out vividly against the rusty brown of the winter bracken and the other bare timber nearby. It wasn’t actually the only one though, the forest was filled with pines colonised by ivy. It’s quite a unique place.
